C-Pipe

Handcrafted C-Pipes by Wilson Wang | Buy Premium Tobacco Pipes

Wilson Wang and his partners, initially importers and distributors of pipes in Asia, discovered a true passion for the art of handmade briar pipes. This love led them to found C-Pipes, with the goal of producing high-quality tobacco pipes: unique pieces that are both works of art and offer an excellent smoking experience, ranking among the world’s best.

A family-run business, they benefited from the expertise of a renowned Danish pipe maker who taught the team the craft of pipe-making. In 2012, the first collection of C-Pipes was launched.

At the heart of the company is Mr. Wilson Wang YiGang, born in 1969 and residing in JiLin, a smoker of Japanese and Russian tobacco pipes. Determined to create lightweight and sculpted pipes that reflect a unique style inspired by Asian culture, Wilson founded Wilson Art & Crafts Co. Ltd in Shanghai. He began crafting pipes in 2008, studying Danish master pipe makers like Bo Nordh and Jörn Micke, drawing inspiration from nature to shape his vision.

Since then, C-Pipes' production methods have evolved, and their designs feature sculptural forms inspired by nature and Chinese culture. Today, Wilson creates around 50 pipes each year, all made with Italian briar and German ebonite stems. Their success in China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and Russia enabled the company to expand, establishing a school to train new artisans and ensure C-Pipes' quality.

Currently, Shanghai Wilson Arts & Crafts Co. employs 34 artisans and 8 designers, and has begun distributing C-Pipes in Europe. We at Bollitopipe Tobacco Shop were the first to try them on arrival and were impressed: lightweight, elegant, and with excellent smoking qualities, especially for aromatic tobaccos.

We’re confident these pipes will also be highly appreciated in Italy and Europe, and we look forward to your feedback!
